The Bel-Aire Palms Homeowner Association (BAP) membership consists of 151 residential lot owners within the Bel-Aire Palms Subdivision, joined together through the Covenants. The Board of Directors of BAP consists of 5 residents who volunteer and are elected by the members at the Annual Meeting of the Members. The directors serve a two-year term, and can be re-elected to the Board.
The By-Laws of the BAP establish four officers: A president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. Officers serve one year terms and are elected at the annual Board of Directors meeting immediately following the Annual Meeting of the Members.
The president is tasked with:
Presiding at all meetings
Execution of all orders and resolutions of the board
Signing all legal documents
Co-signing checks and promissory notes

The vice-president is tasked with acting in the place and stead of the president in the event of:
Absence
Inability or refusal to act
Other duties as assigned by the Board
The secretary is tasked with:
Recording all votes
Keeping minutes of all meetings and proceedings of the board and members
Custodian of the BAP rolls
Other duties as assigned
The treasurer is tasked with:
Receipt and depositing of all monies
Disbursement of funds directed by the Board
Co-signing of all checks and promissory notes
Keeping proper books of account
Preparing the annual budget
The director-at-large is tasked with any duties as assigned by the Board and avoids the potential for tie votes.
